Various ERP / MRP Systems, Lean Manufacturing, The Theory of Constraints and other process improvement approaches have been implemented worldwide with remarkable results. ERP & MRP Systems allow us to manage critical operations oriented data, inventory and supplier transactions. TOC focuses on the flow of material by applying constraint-based improvement techniques; while Lean focuses on process improvements and the elimination of waste.

Combining these approaches has allowed some manufacturing organizations to achieve higher levels of productivity and output, while at the same time reducing operating costs and improving quality and customer service.

However, every manufacturing operation has its own set of unique characteristics, which makes choosing the right solution to address the right problems very confusing.

This session will:

  • Discuss what makes scheduling all manufacturing operations and supply chains so difficult.
  • Share techniques on how to profile you own operations to better understand how these characteristics should influence your scheduling options
  • High level overview of MRP, TOC, Lean and CCPM Scheduling Techniques
  • How to choose the right scheduling solution for your company

Jumbo Baked Potatoes, Chili, Bacon, Steamed Broccoli, Green Onions,
Sour Cream, Jalapeños, Whipped Butter and Salsa
Side: Fresh Garden Salad with Ranch or Balsamic Vinaigrette and Dinner Rolls
