Sarah Salmonowicz, PMP, North American Business Excellence Manager at Bosch, will provide an informative and engaging introduction to agility, its relationship to lean, and the role of quality in an agile world.  Join us for this special joint APICS and American Society for Quality ASQ event on March 13, 2017 at Volvo Communications Center in Greensboro.

EVENT SYNOPSIS

The pace of change in the world is accelerating.  As new technologies disrupt known industries and markets, the demands from our customers and the way they do business is also changing.  We must rapidly adapt, lead with agility and take advantage of new opportunities faster than the competition. 

Being agile means welcoming changing requirements, building projects around motivated individuals with the courage and authority to make fast decisions, and incrementally delivering value quickly to customers while still giving continuous attention to technical excellence. 

In this event, you will gain an und:

  •          The agile values and principles
  •          The relationship between lean and agile
  •          Delivering value and quality in an agile environment
  •          What the most common agile methods and practices are

 

BIOGRAPHY

Sarah Salmonowicz is a resourceful, t-shaped leader with a flair for harnessing creativity, leading with vision and managing with agility.  As a lifelong learner with courageous curiosity, she rapidly adapts to and shapes change in complex environments.

Sarah is currently responsible for portfolio management of organizational development projects, process innovation, and training as well as coaching for all levels of the organization in agile methods and practices.  She is a Bosch instructor for "Agile Management", "Agile Methods & Practices", "Scrum Master" and "Agile Product Owner".

Degrees/certifications: Associate’s Degree in Robotics, Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, PMI-PMP, Six-Sigma Green Belt, EFQM Assessor (European Foundation for Quality Management), International Business German.

Late Registration Fees: For those registering after 9:00 pm on March 10, 2018 the registration fee will be $35.00 for Members and Guests, and $20.00 for Student Members.

Menu: Fresh Tossed Garden Salad, Herb Baked Chicken, Green Bean Almondine, Rice Pilaf, Dinner Rolls, Assorted Cake Slices.
