Clinical Development Supply Chain:  How it is done, and Ernesto’s experience going through one.

Ernesto Martinez is currently the Early Clinical Development Supply Chain Lead for one of the world's largest independent biotechnology companies, working on new life-saving drugs. In 2016, Ernesto joined the company leading the insights generation for cross-platform device technology and new device technology innovation with the Global Business, Analysis, and Insights (BAI) team and the Early Technology Development, Final Product Technologies Team in Operations. He was recipient of the 2018 Operations Innovation Awards and was a Bronze winner with that team. Prior to that, Ernesto was at Medtronic Diabetes in Northridge, California, where he was a manager of market research, insights, and competitive intelligence. He began his career at IBM as a Sr. Market Research Analyst in New York City. Ernesto holds a Ph.D. in Social Anthropology from Harvard University and a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, San Diego (Warren College).
