CPIM Program Formats

Piedmont Triad APICS offers two different review course formats to meet the needs of working professionals.

1) Traditional weekly:  These classes are 8 to 13 sessions depending on which part of the CPIM program and are usually three [3] hours per session.  With the newly released Learning System format, one can complete both classes, pass exams and earn certification in less than 6 months.  The classes are scheduled on weekday evenings with several locations in the Triad area. The modules are scheduled in sequence on a rolling schedule as long as we have a minimum number of students [6].  Some of these programs are run in partnership with Guilford Technical Community College at several of their sites and these scheduled programs are coordinated with the chapter classes to allow participants a greater opportunity to be able to complete the series.  GTCC workshops will be advertised with the top logo below.

2) FasTraK classes:  These are eight [8] hour sessions and can be scheduled either on Saturdays for three or six consecutive weeks.  With all schedules there is a one [1] hour orientation session about one to two weeks before the class starts to distribute class materials and review the process for the class.  There are pre-course assignments that must be accomplished.  And, there is a two [2] hour practice exam review session a week after the last class date to wrap-up the class.  With this format the CPIM series can be completed in 3 to 4 months.
